How They Met
Our families had grown up together as young kids, but as we grew up, our families moved apart. When I was in college in Billings, I had to deliver something from my hometown back to Trevin’s mom in Billings. Instead of Trevin’s mom meeting me to pick up the delivery, she sent Trevin. We were both surprised when seeing each other after 10+ years and realized that both had grown up. That is originally how Trevin snagged my number. From that moment on, Trevin was steadfast in asking me to go out to dinner. After a year, I finally broke down and went on a date with him. The rest is history…

Fondest Memory from the Big Day
When talking about this, we both think the day was really a blur, but one memory sticks out in our minds. During the reception, Trevin and his groomsmen took the stage during a band break and filled the dance floor with our guests while they performed some of Trevin and I’s favorite songs. Playing guitar is one of Trevin’s passions in life and one of the reasons I fell in love with him. To see him perform and the chance for Trevin to perform on this day, was a highlight of the night and a perfect way to celebrate the beginning of their marriage!

How They Chose Vendors
We wanted our wedding to be outside and simple. In choosing our location, we found Homesteader Park to be big enough to accommodate all of our guests with an indoor building in case of bad weather. For our other vendors, we were extremely blessed in that Trevin’s mother is a wonderful baker and chef. She provided our cake as well as all of the food for our BBQ style food line. Our photographer was found through Facebook. One of my friends had used her for their wedding and really liked her style of photographer. My dress was found after looking at numerous bridal boutiques and finally found my perfect dress at David’s Bridal. Overall, our wedding came and vendors were found through the help of many family and friends contributing their talents to our big day.
The wedding day was exactly what we had pictured. Our guests were able to dance, eat, play games, and enjoy our company. One thing we did not have was a receiving line. There was so many people to greet, some of which we did not get to before the night was over so if we could pick again, we would have done something like a receiving line as a way to greet all of our guests.
And they lived happily ever after...
