How They Met

Hot Springs is a pretty small town and you pretty much know everyone. I lived here almost all of my life, and Justin moved here a few years ago. I had moved away for a couple years and had just moved back. We met one night at Fergie’s Pub and there was instant chemistry. It took us a while to start dating, but it was inevitable.

Fondest Memory from the Big Day

Where to start? The day was beautiful, it was the perfect day. Everything looked beautiful. We had a visit that morning and right before the ceremony from a little black bear.  The flowers were beautiful, and there just is no way to describe the feeling when we saw each other for the first time that day. We spent the day surrounded by so many loved ones and we danced and laughed the night away.

How They Chose Vendors

Most of our vendors were picked based off of location. My mother did the flowers. She used to do flowers for weddings and special events when I was growing up and I couldn’t have imagined anyone else preparing my bouquets. We had friends who had a hot barbecue restaurant in Coeur d’Alene do the catering. They made the food and sent it over with my brother. We spent the morning putting all the salads together, with everyone pitching a hand in to get it ready. It was really a group effort!

What They’d Do Differently

With the way the weather turned out, I wish we would’ve had more seating outside at the reception. It was a gorgeous day. I wish we would’ve taken more pictures with the old buildings and just the two of us in different locations on the property. Our photographer was great and we had so many beautiful photos of the day and all of our guests and the ceremony. I just wish we had thought to tell the photographer to take more staged shots.
